1. Secure Your Garbage Like a Pro:
Javelinas have a knack for tipping over
trash cans, leaving a trail of chaos in
their wake. Brace those bins against
something sturdy to thwart their mischief!
2. Get Crafty with Odors: Javelinas
have sensitive noses, so why not put
that to your advantage? Spritz some
Lysol, Windex, or 409 on the outside of
yoaur garbage cans. They'll be repelled
by the smell and keep their distance. No
stinky business allowed!
3. Ammonia to the Rescue: If you're
feeling adventurous, gorilla glue a
sponge about 4 to 5 inches up from the
bottom of your trash can and soak it with
ammonia every couple of days. That'll
send those javelinas and other critters
packing!
4. Don't Play Host: Avoid feeding
javelinas - trust us, you don't want
them becoming regulars at your
doorstep. Plus, they can get a bit
aggressive during mealtime. No need
for food-related drama!
